Treatment of perimenopause Problems

First we have to know  that there are two types of menopause or (menstrual cycle) in women.

  1. Primary amenorrhea:
    Which is the delay of menstrual cycle in the female (non-start) until the age of 16 years, despite the emergence of manifestations of sexual secondary puberty.
  2. Secondary menopause:
    It is determined when the menstrual cycle is interrupted for a continuous 6 months or the cessation of 3 monthly cycles on a continuous basis.

What causes menopause in women?

Of course, there are many reasons that directly contribute to the interruption of the menstrual cycle in women, it may be related to hormonal causes such as disorders of the endocrine system , which affects the effectiveness of ovarian function, that leads to stop producing the ovaries and limit the cycle only to estrogen secretion.

Other reasons contribute to brain-related interruptions, such as (stress, physical exhaustion, diet, loss of appetite, or bulimia after discontinuing oral contraceptives.

All of these factors may contribute to the negative effect on the performance of the endocrine system and so affect the efficiency of ovarian function and menopause in women.

There are many reasons that contribute to menopause, which are related to the pituitary gland, such as increasing the production of milk hormone, adrenal gland disorders,thyroid gland disorders, pituitary tumors, exposure to bruising in the middle brain or pituitary, Contamination of the pituitary gland and placebo pregnancy).

While other causes contribute to menopause related to the ovary itself, such as (suffering from  polycystic ovaries, the incidence of congenital ovarian dysfunction, dysfunction of the ovary and inability to produce hormones “Turner Syndrome”).

And may be detected when there are birth defects in the uterus or ovaries, which contribute negatively to the cessation of ovarian performance and menopause in women.

In addition to exposure to some of the excision of part of the cervix and then cause menopause.

What are the natural and unsatisfactory factors that affect menopause in women?

Of course, there are many unsatisfactory natural factors that affect menopause but are temporary we should not be concerned at all, including (pregnancy, lactation period, before menopause and adolescence).

When is the condition diagnosed as menopause?

The physical examination , interrogation of the patient and exposure to some hormonal tests to ensure the absence of pregnancy and regularity of the normal rate of secretion of milk hormone.

The ovary is supposed to be stimulated by taking drugs containing progesterone.

How is menopause treated in women?

First, it is necessary to identify the problem causing menopause and thus determine the appropriate treatment methods according to that problem, so it is therefore advisable to follow up with obstetrician and gynecologist in order to quickly discover the main cause of the problem of menopause and the speed of treatment by appropriate medical methods.

We note the adoption of most of the menopausal treatment drugs on the hormones estrogen and progesterone and then the ovary is stimulated and thus the primary menopause problem is treated.
